Having painstakingly researched two hundred year old havelis in great detail, the designers have created niche, timeless spaces in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi. These are not only retail boutiques, but  serve as a reminder of their ability to not only create the finest Indian fashion but also a unique ambience that enables a person to travel to a different era.

The Shyamal and Bhumika atelier has been set up in Ahmedabad, surrounded by ancient monuments and step-wells that date back to the 15^th Century. In a bid to preserve traditional art and craft practices from extinction, and keep the Indian heritage alive and active, from traditional hand embroiderers to printers, tailors and dyers, Shyamal & Bhumika employ, empower and nurture numerous artisans from around the country.
